Join us in Rockhampton for a free 1.5 day workshop designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and tools to engage in the clean energy transition.

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS Please read these terms and conditions of acceptance carefully. ‘Powering Up Program Participant’ includes all participants that have registered for the Powering Up Program. Air travel: Air travel is sponsored for participant, should they require it. Air travel will be booked using the most direct route in and out of the nearest national airport points where special airfares have been secured. In some cases, this may not be your preferred option or class. Once the tickets are issued delegates are to contact the travel agent directly for changes. The First Nations Clean Energy Network will not be responsible for any costs incurred for any changes and cancellations. The First Nations Clean Energy Network takes no responsibility for a Powering Up Program Participant who may miss organised flights to and from connecting airports if the fault is their own. If you miss your flight for any reason that is not the fault of the airline, any additional expense required for you to travel to the event is your own responsibility. Transfers: Complimentary return local airport transfers to and from Geraldton Airport to the accomodation provided are provided as per your itinerary. Transfers are not provided to and from any other airport. Transfers from your departure destination (i.e. home or work) to your departure airport, and on the return, are at your own expense. Accommodation: Complimentary accommodation is provided for all hosted Powering Up Program Participants as per your itinerary, if required. Any other expense incurred at your accommodation (e.g. mini bar, in-room dining, laundry, paid TV and other incidentals) is at your own expense. You will be asked for a credit card as security on check-in. Meals: Meals will be detailed in your itinerary. Program commitments: By agreeing to attend the Powering Up Program, you commit to attend and participate in the following activities as detailed in your itinerary. Other notes: Appropriate travel insurance is the responsibility of the individual and should allow for pandemic (COVID-19) contingencies. When negotiating your travel insurance please ensure time differences are taken into consideration. Travel insurance must be effective from the day of departure up to and including the day you arrive back at your homeport. Accompanying persons are not included in any component of the official program and are not permitted to attend any of the social functions – this program is strictly for approved Powering Up Program Participants only. As this is a professional business networking program, we thank you for complying with this rule. By participating in the Powering Up Program, you authorise First Nations Clean Energy Network appointed staff to photograph or video you at the event and for these images/recordings to be used in future marketing and public relations activities. Please advise if you wish for your photograph or video footage not to be published anywhere. Liability clause: In coordinating this event, the First Nations Clean Energy Network has used the information supplied by the operators of the relevant services. The First Nations Clean Energy Network has endeavoured to ensure that the information is correct at the time of publishing; however, the First Nations Clean Energy Network accepts no responsibility or liability in respect of such information. While attendance at all itinerary events is compulsory (for example, a lunch), additional activities may be offered at the events (for example, assisting a performer or petting an animal). Participation in any such activity is solely at the discretion of the individual and the First Nations Clean Energy Network will be exempt from all liability in respect of any event, negligent act, omission, accident, personal injury, death, sickness, irregularity, loss or damage whatsoever, howsoever and by whosoever caused. The First Nations Clean Energy Network accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, omission, accident, detention, diversion or theft in regard to luggage or belongings whatsoever. Pandemic Clause: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic, the planning of the program may be different to events you’ve attended previously. As the Events Team navigate ongoing changes with travel restrictions and social distancing policies, your comfort and safety are always front of mind. The Events Team will keep you informed of any changes that may impact your ability to travel and your overall safety. If at any stage you develop any COVID-19 related symptoms prior to your attendance, however mild, we request that you get tested immediately.
