We are very excited to invite you to the 3rd First Nations Clean Energy Symposium
Hosted by the First Nations Clean Energy Network and the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation.
This is a gathering of First Nations leaders,Traditional Owners, communities, government, unions, academics, community organisations, industry and allies driving real outcomes for First Nations in Australia’s clean energy transition.
This year’s Symposium is about the doing. It’s about showing up, sharing knowledge, learning from each other, working on the challenges and building on the work we are already doing together.
Our two-day Symposium from Wednesday 13 (Welcome Reception) - Friday 15 August, will bring together Traditional Owners, communities and businesses participating in the clean energy industry, government policy makers, industry trail-blazers, and First Nations leaders to:
The Symposium will include a series of case-studies, workshops, breakout sessions and discussion forums.
It will create the space to connect, collaborate and move to the next chapter of the clean energy transition - one grounded in self-determination, equity, and care for Country.
There will also be networking opportunities including the Welcome Reception on Wednesday 13 August, and the Symposium Dinner on Thursday 14 August.
This is a First Nations-led space. It’s about us, for us - and driven by the principles of free, prior and informed consent, partnership, and respect.
